I love it when an email pings into your inbox and it’s an unexpected exciting opportunity! This was one of those times – the lovely Murielle from Montpellier-based wedding planners Intense Events contacted me and asked if I’d like to be involved in a fine art editorial shoot at a stunning wine estate in South West France, along with a list of incredible wedding vendors. I literally gasped out loud when driving up to La Seigneurie de Peyrat, a beautiful estate surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and with an epic cypress-tree-lined drive! We were treated to the venue’s signature ‘pique-nique-chic’ of goats cheese, French-style bruschetta (which we were taught how to make) and wine from the estate before embarking on the shoot. And what a shoot! Murielle’s creative vision for the shoot, and eye for beauty and detail, blew me away. I can’t wait to share the full shoot, but here is a little taster of the day for now. And if you are getting married in France and looing for a beautiful, authentic French wedding venue, I can whole-heartedly recommend La Seigneurie de Peyrat (and their wine!!)
